Trench Forming

Trench Forming:

Trench forming is a proven cost effective method of forming large piers that are not exposed to outside elements.

We first dig a hole equal to the exact size of the specified pier. Then we form on top of the ground the exact size of the pier. Reinforcement is placed in the hole along with the concrete. After initial concrete setting time, the top is then stripped and the pier is complete. This method allows us to form many different size piers with minimal forming, therefore saving foundation costs. Trench Forming also eliminates the need for compaction around the pier as this is still virgin soil at this point.
